Residential school survivors celebrate federal funding for counselling travel
Some residential school survivors in the North are celebrating the news that the federal government will still pay for counselling travel after all. Indigenous Services Canada told CBC on Wednesday it had secured money to pay for travel rather than leave clients with the sole option of meeting virtually.
