Ron Perlman & Teri Polo Set For Archstone Entertainment Pic ‘Lies We Follow’
EXCLUSIVE: Hellboy actor Ron Perlman and Meet the Parents franchise actress Teri Polo are set to headline Aida Gevorgyan’s Lies We Follow which will be shooting in Los Angeles.
In the pic, Jamie, a desperate mother, is frustrated after doctors are unable to cure her dying daughter, Emma. Jamie winds up following a charismatic doctor, Beau, (Perlman) to his isolated retreat where he promises a “new world’ and a cure. But the deeper she goes, the harder it becomes to tell healing from control. Polo will play the role of Margaret, Beau’s lieutenant in his cult operation, and who also connects to Jamie’s plight.
Archstone Entertainment is making the movie. Jack Sheehan is producing.
Polo has starred in the $1B-plus grossing Meet the Parents franchise and can be seen next in November’s Focker-in-Law opposite Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller and Ariana Grande. She recently starred in the movie The Man in the Window. Her TV credits include Northern Exposure, The West Wing, The Fosters, Good Trouble as well as FBI: International, NCIS and The Big Leap. Polo is repped by Gersh, McGowan Rodriguez Management, and Kraditor and Haber.
Perlman recently starred on AppleTV’s Cape Fear, Prime Video’s Fallout, Hand of God, Sons of Anarchy, CBS’ Beauty and the Beast, and movies Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy and Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, as well as Jack Huston’s Day of the Fight.
