Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Ottawa, Hawkesbury
Warning includes wind, rain and hail
Environment Canada has upgraded a severe thunderstorm watch to a warning for communities including Ottawa, Hawkesbury and Westport.
The line of storms is moving northeast and could bring strong winds and heavy rain, as well as lightning. Hail is no longer mentioned in the warning.
There is also a severe thunderstorm watch for much of the region Tuesday afternoon and evening.
They are all yellow, the lowest level on Environment Canada's three-colour scale.
