SG's OneByZero secures $20m in Jungle Ventures

Singapore-based enterprise artificial intelligence company OneByZero has announced that it has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round anchored by Jungle Ventures.

The round marks OneByZero’s first external funding as it seeks to expand its AI deployment business across Asia Pacific, per the announcement.

The company said it has spent the past three years deploying AI systems for large enterprises in regulated sectors including financial services, telecommunications and retail.

The funding will support expansion of its engineering teams, entry into Japan and the development of its NEO AI deployment platform and AI Coworkers, OneByZero said.

It will also be used to expand operations in the nine markets where OneByZero currently operates, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the US and Vietnam.

The company also plans to establish a local team in Japan and expand into conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector.

OneByZero claims its revenue has more than doubled annually over the past three years.

Its AI deployments have helped some enterprises automate more than 90% of customer-facing interactions, while its systems have delivered cost savings and cut the time required for complex data modernisation projects by as much as 50%, it pointed out.

The company’s NEO platform serves as the control layer for these deployments, providing governance and a record of agent activity, it added.

OneByZero said it will also invest in NEO and develop industry-specific templates, including tools that allow enterprises to build AI applications using open-weight and smaller language models.

“Every enterprise can now get access to powerful AI,” said Niket Vaidya, CEO and co-founder of OneByZero. “The value comes when it runs inside the systems that run the business, under the company’s own rules, and gets better every week.”

The startup’s funding comes as Southeast Asia’s venture capital market is contending with a structural gap in follow-on funding, even as headline funding values show signs of recovery driven by a handful of mega-deals, investors said at DealStreetAsia’s Asia PE-VC Summit in Singapore.

A report by Kickstart Ventures and DealStreetAsia shows venture capital funding for Southeast Asian startups jumped to $7.25 billion across 217 deals in the first half of 2026, up from $3.5 billion in H2 2025.

However, total transactions fell 7% to a multi-year low, with the recovery driven largely by a single $4.5 billion Series C round for Singapore-based DayOne. Excluding DayOne, regional funding fell 21% half-on-half to $2.75 billion.
