Shakira is ready to shake things up at the FIFA World Cup.
The "Dai Dai" singer will be headlining the World Cup halftime show during the final match on July 19 at New York/New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium). She will be performing alongside co-headliners BTS, Madonna, Coldplay, and Justin Bieber.
"It's going to be a shared halftime show," Shakira told People. "It's going to be pretty historic, five amazing artists. Well, four amazing artists plus me."
Coldplay's Chris Martin curated the inaugural FIFA World Cup halftime show performance, and Shakira shares that she hopes the lead singer will be singing as well.
"We'll all get together, and we'll all figure it out how it's gonna be, but I'm really curious," she said. "I'm as curious as you are right now!"
Additional performers include Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus, who are 4th and 5th graders from an elementary school in Staten Island. The elementary children will be a part of Coldplay's set.
Shakira and Burna Boy's song "Dai Dai" is the official World Cup song for the 2026 World Cup, which was released back in May. This is the third World Cup song for the " Hips Don't Lie " singer following "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" for the 2010 World Cup and "La La La" which was featured in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Bieber was the latest performer that the World Cup announced that will be a part of the inaugural show.
"The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can," Bieber said per the Hollywood Reporter. "I'm grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it's already helping expand access to education for children around the world."
The artists are still building the show as Shakira admitted that they are still trying to "figure out how it's gonna be, but I'm really curious."
Fans will be able to watch the performance live on July 19 at 3 p.m. ET on FOX Sports.
