Singtel, SIT, and NVIDIA Partner to Scale Enterprise AI Solutions
As companies increasingly adopt AI technologies, many struggle to move from successful pilot projects to full-scale implementations, as standard solutions often do not align with their unique business requirements. To tackle this issue, RE:AI, the sovereign AI cloud division of Singtel Digital InfraCo, and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to facilitate AI solution deployments and enhance Singapore’s skilled workforce in applied AI.

This collaboration allows enterprises engaged in Digital InfraCo’s Center of Excellence (CoE) for Applied AI, in partnership with NVIDIA, to work alongside SIT students and researchers from SIT’s AI Technology Center (SNAIC) and NVIDIA’s AI Technology Center (NVAITC) to create AI applications tailored to specific industry needs.
Businesses and government entities will have the opportunity to co-create customized AI solutions by utilizing RE:AI’s sovereign AI cloud infrastructure, in conjunction with SNAIC’s research, industry partnerships, and educational resources. Established in October 2025, SNAIC is a collaborative effort between SIT and NVIDIA that promotes the integration of AI across Singapore’s ecosystem via applied research and close cooperation with industry.
To support these initiatives, RE:AI will set up an advanced AI testbed on SIT’s Punggol Digital District campus, featuring NVIDIA GPU technology and AI solutions. This shared space will enable enterprises, researchers, and students to collaboratively develop and test AI applications prior to deployment, effectively streamlining the transition from pilot phases to production-ready solutions.
Mr. Manoj Prasanna Kumar, Chief Technology & Information Officer at Singtel Digital InfraCo, noted:
This partnership leverages the strengths of industry, academia, and digital infrastructure to form an AI innovation ecosystem that accelerates enterprises’ AI transformation journey from research to production deployment. RE:AI’s trusted infrastructure and network of technology partners are key to enabling enterprises, researchers, and students to develop, test, and scale AI applications more quickly and confidently. By helping enterprises and government agencies harness AI’s potential, we are strengthening Singapore’s position as a leading AI innovation hub and advancing its Research, Innovation, and Enterprise 2030 priorities in AI, talent development, and innovation.
Through SIT’s applied learning approach and SNAIC’s research capabilities, enterprises will engage with multidisciplinary teams of faculty, researchers, postgraduate students, and undergraduates, all contributing their expertise to real projects. This collaboration will provide enterprises access to research capabilities and emerging AI talent, facilitating the shift of AI solutions to production. Concurrently, students and researchers will gain practical experience in addressing enterprise AI challenges, enhancing Singapore’s pool of AI professionals and supporting the objectives of the National AI Strategy 2.0.
Professor Susanna Leong, Deputy President (Academic) & Provost at SIT, stated:
As the University for Industry, SIT is committed to translating applied learning and research into tangible outcomes for industry. Through SNAIC, we work closely with industry to co-develop solutions to real-world challenges and accelerate talent development in applied AI. This partnership with RE:AI will create valuable opportunities for our students and academic staff to tackle complex business issues, gaining hands-on experience in applying AI to solve practical problems.
“Singapore has a world-class community of researchers, students, and innovators ready to turn AI into impact,” said Mr. Marc Hamilton, Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Engineering at NVIDIA.
By bringing together Singtel’s sovereign AI cloud, SIT’s applied research and NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform and expertise, this collaboration will help enterprises translate applied AI research into real-world solutions, while equipping students and researchers with the skills and experience to contribute to Singapore’s growing AI ecosystem.
