Strasbourg-founded Goodweek raises €10.69 million to become the AI Manager for SMBs
Google News - BusinessGoodweek, a Los Angeles-headquartered French startup positioning itself as a one-stop AI management platform for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised a €10.69 million ($12 million) Seed round.
The funding round was led by Spanish venture capital firm Adara Ventures, which previously backed Goodweek co-founder Nicolas Stehle at his earlier venture, Scalefast, sold in 2022. The round also saw participation from Anamcara Capital, BGV, BY Venture Partners, CentraleSupélec Venture, FJ Labs, Interlace Ventures, True Ventures, and Bpifrance.
“For us, this investment is also a reunion. We backed Nicolas at Scalefast and have seen first-hand how he executes. Backing a founder a second time is one of the clearest signals of conviction an investor can give, and it is not one we give lightly,” said Nico Goulet, Founding Partner, Adara Ventures.
Founded in Strasbourg and incubated at Station F in Paris by Guillaume Nominé and Stehle, Goodweek describes itself as an AI Manager for SMBs. Nominé previously founded Atolia, a collaboration solution he built from his student years through to its sale to JustCall in 2022. Both studied computer science at ENSIIE, and Stehle has mentored Nominé for over a year.
Accenture, whose CEO once argued that promotions will be tied to AI usage/adoption, has now put a hard cap on per-person Claude spending. While it is proving challenging for a firm like Accenture to keep AI spending under control, SMBs find it even harder. The problem Goodweek is solving is that employees have brought AI into SMBs, often without IT approval. This has led to personal accounts, confidential data leaving the company, and duplicate subscriptions adding to costs.
Goodweek solves this problem with a single unified platform bringing together leading AI models, including Anthropic’s Claude, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Mistral, while keeping company data isolated and never using it to train third-party models. The company says its platform gives business leaders visibility into who is using which AI tools and at what cost, a metric that has proven difficult to track.
“We want everyone to have a good week at work, powered by AI that’s more accessible, more secure, and genuinely useful day to day. Because AI should be an ally for every employee — not a risk for the company,” said Nominé, CEO and co-founder of Goodweek.
The funding comes just days after the company turned one. In under a year, the company has grown to 50 employees across three countries and counts nearly 150 customers in France, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Benelux, and North America,
Goodweek will use the new capital to scale its sales operations and push into new international markets, including Latin America and Asia.
