Josh Ross is headlining Surrey Canada Day this year.

Ross will bring his unique brand of country music to the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds July 1.

The first Canadian male country artist in almost three decades to top the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, Ross will lead and all-Canadian cast of entertainers at Western Canada’s biggest July 1 festival. The Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre will act as the main stage with some smaller stages set up across the north end of the Fairgrounds.

Ross shot to stardom in 2025 when his hit “Single Again” rocketed to No. 1 on U.S. country radio. He is the first male country artist to hit No. 1 south of the line since Paul Brandt did it with his chart-topper “My Heart Would Cry for You” in 1996. Before that, only the iconic Hank Snow hit No. 1 in the U.S. for a male artist. Snow topped the charts a whopping seven times with his first No. 1 coming in 1950 via the hit “I’m Movin’ On.”

Other Canadian artists opening for Ross include: Lee Aaron, a Canadian rocker with a multi-decade career, and Tyler Shaw, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter.

In addition to the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre, there will be three other stages: The Siam Stage, an indigenous performance and cultural sharing stage; the family stage, a family-friendly entertainment and activities stage; and a community stage that will feature DJ’s, dance battles, and other activities.

There will also be amusement rides, food trucks, a beer garden, an ice cream zone (with free samples), and a large-scale soccer activity zone celebrating World Cup 2026.

As always the night will be capped off with a fireworks display commencing at approximately 10:15 p.m.

The Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre is located on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds at 17728 64th Avenue.
