SWISSto12 Raises $70 Million in Series C Round To Scale Multi

The new space economy is moving incredibly fast, and profitable satellite builders are leading the charge. In a major move for the aerospace sector, SWISSto12 raises $70 million in its Series C funding round to scale its disruptive multi-orbit business.

The Swiss-based manufacturer plans to use this new capital injection to dramatically boost its manufacturing and integration capacity. With commercial and sovereign government demand skyrocketing, the company is preparing to scale its production lines.

SWISSto12 will increase production across low Earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary orbit (GEO) systems. This financial milestone follows an incredible era of growth for the firm. SWISSto12 has recorded a stunning 110% compound annual growth rate since 2022.

It pulled in a solid $140 million in revenue for 2025 alone, pushing the company into positive EBITDA territory. With customer backlogs looking stronger than ever, the startup is proving that the modern space industry can be highly lucrative.

The primary engine behind this new funding is the sheer volume of incoming customer orders. SWISSto12 currently boasts a total contracted book value exceeding $500 million.

Operators are rushing to secure hardware that can handle modern telecommunications challenges across different orbital levels. The capital will heavily support their two main product branches. The first is HummingSat, a highly efficient, compact geostationary satellite.

The second is HummingLink, an advanced payload and antenna solution designed for multi-orbit tasks. So far, the company has locked down seven major HummingSat contracts with global telecom giants like SES and Viasat.

Meanwhile, over 2,000 of its HummingLink components are already operating in space, supporting everything from LEO constellations to complex APAC region missions.

Advanced Manufacturing Drives Space Infrastructure

Leaning into innovative hardware creation, SWISSto12 uses its own patented 3D printing and design technologies. This system allows the company to create highly complex, lightweight radio frequency components that cannot be created using traditional methods.

By applying additive manufacturing to satellite design, they can build custom payloads that easily adapt to any third-party platform or rocket. This adaptability makes them a prime partner for governments looking to build sovereign communications networks.

The European Space Agency (ESA) also recently backed this approach, awarding the company an $84.8 million partnership project grant to validate the HummingSat platform directly in orbit. With the new capital, SWISSto12 looks to expand its reach.

Management notes that the as SWISSto12 raises $70 million, the funds will immediately go toward expanding physical facilities and hiring top engineering talent. As demand grows for direct-to-device connectivity, secure military infrastructure, and seamless inter-satellite data relays, this Swiss firm is uniquely positioned to dominate the multi-orbit market for years to come.
