Talk at Old Kirke Museum to focus on intersection of art, technology
The Old Kirke Museum is located at 304 Walnut St. in Manistee.
The intersection of art and technology will be the subject of the Old Kirke Museum's First Person Stories and Songs at 10 am Thursday, July 16 at the museum.Eden Foley, an artist and art professor at West Shore Community College will be the guest speaker. In addition to teaching, Foley co-curates an exhibit each year with the Chicago Gamespace Museum. Next year's theme is Humanity and Technology, and Foley said his talk at the Old Kirke will provide an introduction to that.
Foley is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and designer. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Middle East Technical University in Turkey, a master's degree in graphic design from Bilkent University in Turkey, and a master's degree from Department of Interdisciplinary Arts at Columbia College in Chicago.

The Old Kirke Museum is located in the former Our Savior Lutheran Church, 304 Walnut St. in Manistee.
All programs at the Old Kirke are free and open to the public.
