The laughs, the screams, and the ridiculous parody moments are officially back.

After more than a decade away, Scary Movie is making its return to cinemas, and the final trailer has just landed ahead of the movie’s release this week. Fans have been waiting years for the franchise to make a comeback, and judging by the latest footage, absolutely nothing is off limits.

One of the biggest reasons horror-comedy fans are excited is the return of the original Wayans team. Marlon and Shawn Wayans are back alongside franchise favourites Anna Faris and Regina Hall, bringing the classic early-2000s energy that made the first films such massive hits.

The new movie sees familiar faces caught up in another round of killer chaos, supernatural madness, and horror movie nonsense. Basically, if a horror franchise exists, it’s probably getting roasted.

The final trailer cranks everything up, taking aim at modern horror trends while throwing in plenty of outrageous jokes, jump scares, and over-the-top moments. Early reactions online suggest fans are loving the return to the franchise’s classic style.

Scary Movie is set to hit cinemas this week, marking the long-awaited sixth instalment in the iconic parody franchise. After 13 years without a new entry, the series is finally back and ready to cause complete mayhem on the big screen.

One thing’s clear: horror fans should probably prepare to have their favourite movies mercilessly mocked all over again.
