This startup is building a single platform to manage operations and suppliers
Dhaka-based startup OSS Nexus Limited has developed a business operations platform that brings procurement, supplier management and service delivery into a single system for corporate clients.
Through its online portal, a company can submit a requirement, receive quotations from vetted suppliers, compare prices and select a provider within the same system. OSS Nexus then manages the delivery process through to completion.
The platform covers more than 16 service categories, including office supplies, heating and cooling systems, interior work, staffing, information technology, facilities management, logistics, catering, hotel arrangements and transport.
OSS Nexus says its model is intended to reduce the need for companies to deal separately with numerous vendors for different operational needs. The platform positions itself as a single counterpart for multiple services, while maintaining a network of external suppliers.
According to the company, more than 175 vendors have joined the platform in its first five months. OSS Nexus said it vets suppliers before bringing them into the network and also runs group onboarding sessions involving companies from different industries.
OSS Nexus was founded by Rifat Mahmud. According to him, the startup is currently bootstrapped and has also opened a pre-seed investment round.
