Trendy new wheat proves its potential in the Maritimes
Researchers on P.E.I. have wrapped up a three-year project looking at a new wheat called Kernza. It comes back year after year, so farmers save money on seed, plowing and fertilizer. But as CBC's Nancy Russell reports, it's been a bigger hit south of the border.
