Trump claims Canada 'destroying itself' by welcoming millions of people 'unchecked'

WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump claims Canada is “destroying itself” by allowing millions of people into the country “essentially unchecked and unvetted.”

In a social media post today, Trump says this is causing problems that “will soon be too big to handle.”

Trump calls it a “Liberal takeover that will end very badly.”

He says this is already resulting in high unemployment numbers.

Trump provided no evidence for these claims.

Canada has reduced its immigration intake in the last two years.
