Twelve fire crews tackling large joinery blaze

Twelve fire crews are tackling a large blaze at a joinery.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called to Lodge Road in Hollesley just before 09:00 BST.

A spokesperson said the fire had spread within a 30m by 15m building, where cylinders were stored and where there was an asbestos roof.

No casualties have been reported and attendance by The Salvation Army has been requested for crew welfare.

Crews from Ipswich, Saxmundham, Felixstowe, Framlingham, Beccles and other Suffolk stations are in attendance.
