U.S. group calls for end to tariffs on sports gear
An American sports organization is calling on the American and Canadian governments to suspend their tariffs on sports gear, as they fear the levies will create economic challenges for businesses and communities. Aneysha Bhat, spokesperson for the Washington-based Sports and Fitness Industry Association, says tariffs are an economic pain point for companies in the industry, and also hurt the public's participation in sports.
