Vancouver police investigating targeted Spanish Banks shooting
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is investigating a shooting at Spanish Banks Saturday just before 5 p.m. PT, which the police believe to be targeted.
Callers reported witnessing two masked men shoot at an occupied parked vehicle at one of the beach's parking lots, the VPD said in an email to CBC News.
Const. Darren Wong says one suspect was arrested in relation to this shooting after being located in East Vancouver.
At this time, police say there are no known victims and no perceived threat to the public.
The incident continues to be under investigation, according to police.
