Venture Business Association: "Minister Candidate Lee Soyoung Offers Optimal Leadership for the Era of Technological Transformation"
"We Hope Her Policy Expertise Will Lead to Strong Implementation by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups"
The Venture Business Association has expressed its welcome regarding the nomination of Lee So-young, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, as the candidate for Minister of SMEs and Startups.
On the 30th, the association released a statement saying, "We expect that, through this nomination, ventures and startups will firmly establish themselves as sustainable growth engines of the Korean economy."

The association continued, "Candidate Lee has taken the lead in reflecting the voices of ventures and startups in legislation through her two-term parliamentary activities," adding, "She is a policy expert who has proposed comprehensive solutions for innovation-led growth and the livelihood economy."
The association also stated, "Her outstanding expertise proven in the legislative field, exceptional drive for execution, and communication skills with those on the frontlines make her the optimal leadership to elevate the competitiveness of our SMEs and venture companies as we face a rapid technological transformation era."
Lastly, the association emphasized, "In order to achieve the national policy goals of becoming one of the world's top four venture powers and reaching 40 trillion won in annual venture investment, it is urgently necessary to resolve critical policy issues in the field," adding, "We hope that the policy capabilities accumulated by the candidate will be translated into strong implementation power within the ministry, ensuring that ventures and startups are not left out of the wave of technological transformation."
