What’s open, closed on Labour Day?

Government offices, liquor stores, and most major retail and grocery stores will be closed on Monday for Labour Day. Public transit will also not run in Moncton, Saint John or Fredericton.

The City of Moncton's regular council meeting will be held on Tuesday, following the holiday.

Here is a partial list of what's open and closed on Monday.

Sobeys, Walmart, Atlantic Superstore locations will be closed.

N.B. Liquor and Cannabis N.B. will be closed.

Most Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be open, hours depend on location.

Saint John City Market will be closed.

Regent Mall in Fredericton will be closed.

Champlain Place in Dieppe will be closed.

McAllister Place in Saint John will be closed.

Magnetic Hill Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beaverbrook Art Gallery will be open from noon until 5 p.m.

The Fredericton Region Museum will be closed.

The Fundy Discovery Aquarium will be closed.

Kings Landing will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saint John Transit will not run.

Saint John city hall and offices will be closed.

Codiac Transpo in Moncton will not run.

Moncton city hall and municipal offices will be closed.

Fredericton Transit will not run.

Fredericton city hall and offices will be closed.

All public libraries and administrative offices will be closed.
