Woman dies after A30 crash
A woman has died following a crash on a major road.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called to the A30 near Honiton, Devon, at about 14:20 BST on Saturday.
The force said the crash involved a grey Cupra Formentor, and the front seat passenger, a 28-year-old woman from the Milton Keynes area, died at the scene. It said the driver of the car suffered minor injuries, and the next of kin had been informed.
The road was closed for several hours while an investigation was carried out. Officers have asked any witnesses to get in touch.
