Professional and amateur cheerleaders from around the globe have descended on Montreal's Verdun auditorium this week for the first ever Association for International All Stars competition. Tourism Montreal partnered with Cheer Quebec as part of the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Olympic Games to host the world class athletes. It's only been an official Olympic sport since 2021, but as video journalist David Sedell discovered, what some see as a sideline sport has been nothing short of life-changing for many.
