England and Argentina are heading to the semi-finals after defeating Norway and Switzerland, respectively.

England’s Jude Bellingham scored both goals for his team, the first in the 45+2 minute and the second in the 93rd. England won 2-1 after extra time.

Argentina also went to extra time during its match with Switzerland, as they were tied 1-1 at the end of regular time. Argentina scored two goals during extra time, defeating Switzerland 3-1.

This was the first match of the 2026 World Cup in which Lionel Messi did not score.

Argentina will face England on Wednesday (July 15) in Atlanta.
