World Wide Technology Raceway sells out for sixth consecutive Saturday
NHRA and World Wide Technology Raceway announced a sellout crowd for Saturday’s racing at the 15th annual NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals, marking the sixth consecutive Saturday sellout for the St. Louis-area event.
“Today’s sold-out crowd at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals is another tremendous showcase of the passion and enthusiasm St. Louis fans have for NHRA drag racing,” said NHRA President Glen Cromwell. “The team at World Wide Technology Raceway continues to provide an outstanding experience, and it’s exciting to see another packed house in St. Louis during our 75th anniversary season.”
Saturday’s capacity crowd represents NHRA’s 11th sellout of the 2026 season and its third consecutive Saturday sellout during the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship.
The NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals marks the midpoint of the six-race Countdown playoffs, making every qualifying position and championship bonus point increasingly important. The sold-out Saturday crowd watched two qualifying sessions featuring the stars of Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
The weekend concludes Sunday with final eliminations beginning at 10 a.m. CT at World Wide Technology Raceway.
