Singapore Symphony Concerts for Families 2025–2026 – Music Adventures for All Ages!

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to introduce your little ones to classical music? The Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s Family Concerts offer delightful, age-appropriate performances that blend storytelling, live visuals, and timeless classical works—perfect for families.

Here are the upcoming family concerts in 2025 and 2026 that you and your family can look forward to!

Recommended for children aged 5 and above, Young Spacefarer’s Guide to the Orchestra (6 Sep 2025, Esplanade Concert Hall) takes families on a symphonic space journey, featuring engaging storytelling, vibrant visuals, and familiar works by composers, Tchaikovsky, John Williams and more, including Britten’s A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra—a great introduction to orchestral instruments and a fun, beginner-friendly way to explore the sounds of the orchestra.

Additionally, celebrate Halloween at the Temasek Foundation × SSO: Halloween Spooktacular! (1–2 Nov 2025, Victoria Concert Hall), a delightfully eerie concert filled with mysterious melodies, spooky fun, and lots of laughs! Hosted by the entertaining Alasdair Malloy and conducted by SSO’s Associate Conductor Rodolfo Barraéz, this festive programme adds a musical twist to the season—costumes are welcome!

Meanwhile, Wild Symphony (21–22 Mar 2026, Victoria Concert Hall) brings #1 New York Times bestselling author, Dan Brown’s children’s book to life with Maestro Mouse and friends. This multimedia concert combines orchestral music, narration, playful poetry, and animated visuals in a heartwarming tale of friendship and discovery that the whole family will enjoy.

At SSO Organ Series: Fairy Tales & Fantasy (6 Jun 2026, Victoria Concert Hall), international keyboard duo Scott Brothers Duo (Jonathan & Tom Scott) will perform a fun-filled concert of duos for piano and organ for everyone in the family. This organ concert presented by the Singapore Symphony will feature thrilling music accompanied by Tom Scott’s captivating animations, including Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, and much more!

For our younger ones aged 6 and under, we highly recommend the ever-popular SSO Babies’ Proms (13–14 Sep 2025, Victoria Concert Hall)—an ideal first concert experience for little ones! Invisible Invincible fallows the heart-warming story of two different individuals placed together to find friendship through a child's play of powerful imagination. This is a performance that will explore the notion that ‘what is not visible is not invisible’ and the ‘invincibility’ of imagination. This interactive show will be accompanied by live music.
