KRW 11 Billion in Linked Investments Facilitated
On July 27, global healthcare company InBody and deep tech accelerator Bluepoint Partners announced that more than 400 startups and aspiring founding teams had applied to "InBodyLike," the open innovation program jointly operated by the two companies.
The two companies hosted the InBodyLike Meetup Day and officially launched collaborations with the six startups that were ultimately selected. InBodyLike, which means "Like InBody," is a hands-on acceleration program designed to foster the growth of new technologies and the healthcare industry ecosystem, leveraging InBody’s evolution from its founding as a technology startup in 1996 into a global enterprise. Through the program, the companies are facilitating a total investment of KRW 11 billion.
Beyond simple investments, the two companies offer tangible support for startup growth, including business validation (PoC), technology verification, and assistance in entering global markets. Over the next four months, the six selected teams will have access to InBody’s infrastructure—comprised of technologies, expertise, and over 200 million body composition big data records—along with tailored mentoring and investment networking from Bluepoint Partners.
The six teams were chosen through a first-round interview and a final pitch evaluation, with comprehensive consideration given to their business models, technological capabilities, and team-building skills. The selected six teams are:
