At least 4 shot in Massachusetts in post-match World Cup crowds
Police in Massachusetts said at least four people were shot as hundreds of people were gathered after a World Cup match Friday night.
The Brockton Police Department said it "received multiple reports of gunfire shortly before midnight Friday."
"Officers responded to the intersection of Main Street and Park Street and found at least four people with gunshot wounds," the department said in a statement.
All four people were transported to the hospital, police said. Their conditions were not immediately clear, police said.
Norway and France played on Friday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
