Aye Finance has appointed Nishit Shrivastava as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the non-banking financial company looks to strengthen its technology capabilities and scale lending operations across India’s micro-enterprise segment.

Shrivastava brings more than 24 years of experience in software development and financial services technology, spanning fintech, digital transformation, technology strategy and enterprise platforms. He most recently served as Chief Information and Technology Officer at Muthoot Fincorp, part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group.

At Muthoot Fincorp, he led technology initiatives across customer experience, data engineering, modern infrastructure, digital transformation, security, technology resilience and enterprise artificial intelligence. His experience includes developing and managing technology capabilities within financial services businesses.

At Aye Finance, Shrivastava will lead the company’s technology strategy, focusing on strengthening its architecture and building scalable, secure and resilient digital platforms. His mandate will also include using data, AI and emerging technologies to enhance technology-enabled lending, improve operational efficiency and support customer experience.

Sanjay Sharma, Managing Director, Aye Finance, said technology has been central to the company’s lending model and will become increasingly important as it enters its next phase of growth. He said Shrivastava’s experience in financial services technology and enterprise-scale transformation would support the company’s efforts to improve efficiency and customer value.

Shrivastava said he would focus on building technology capabilities that can scale with the business, strengthen data-led decision-making and help make credit more accessible and responsive for micro-enterprises.
