Besco to Represent PlayBox Neo in South Korea
PlayBox Neo has appointed Besco as reseller channel partner in South Korea. With South Korea rapidly establishing itself as one of the world’s most dynamic markets, the predominant focus of the partnership will centre on production, ingest and studio playout, as per Besco’s exclusivity rights.
Besco’s role as PlayBox Neo’s official reseller in the region will involve introducing the thriving, high-tech, export-driven market to PlayBox Neo’s solutions, including the award-winning PlayBox Neo Suite – a leading multi-channel, multi-server UHD/HD/SD platform designed to integrate into the production workflow of any television network, post-production facility or playout centre.
Used by television networks, post-production facilities and playout centres, PlayBox Neo’s Ingest solution offers broadcasters ultra-high-efficiency ingest across a wide range of file formats, codecs and containers. Ingest is easy to integrate into any broadcast media environment using client-server architecture, which can be scaled to accommodate unlimited numbers of channels. High productivity results are ensured, with the ingest operator controlling all available ingest servers from a single user interface.
“South Korea is emerging as Asia-Pacific’s next FAST powerhouse, driven by global K-content growth. These are exciting times, and we welcome Besco as an important network partner,” stated Pavlin Rahnev, PlayBox Neo Founder and CEO. “Our goal has always been to provide media industry professionals with the best technology they need to succeed and excel in their businesses.
