Breastfeeding mom's 'blocked milk duct' was actually breast cancer
A London mother who initially dismissed a breast lump as a breastfeeding-related issue was later diagnosed with hormone-positive breast cancer. Meera Kotecha underwent chemotherapy, surgery and radiation after tests revealed the lump was cancerous. Now cancer-free, she is sharing her story to encourage people to get any new or unusual breast changes checked promptly and to raise awareness about early detection.
