Canada wide warrant issued for federal offender, Mason Jenkins

It’s been five days since Mason Jenkins walked away from Collins Bay Institution, an inmate who had been serving a life sentence for first-degree murder.

As a result, the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad has issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest as a result of his breach of statutory release.

Jenkins is described as a Caucasian male, 49 years of age, five-foot-nine, 255 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald. He walked away from the Collins Bay Institution on Sept. 24 in Kingston.

Jenkins is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and drug trafficking.

The offender is know to frequent Kingston, Kitchener and Chatham.
