Carney hits back at Musk over Quebec independence: Big tech firms don’t call the shots
Prime Minister Mark Carney has rebutted Elon Musk for publicly backing the separation of Quebec, Alberta and Saskatchewan from Canada.
“The future of Canada will be decided by Canadians, and the priorities of Canadians, the priorities of the people of Quebec,” Carney told reporters in Quebec on Thursday.
Carney referred to his government’s 43 Quebec MPs, some of whom stood next to him.
