DAZN Media+ Extends Sports Advertising Offering with SureVision
DAZN Media+ is partnering with premier sporting screen technology company SureVision to bring brands into the nucleus of live sport with in-stadium, on-the-ground advertising.
SureVision represents some of the most premium on-ground advertising inventory in Australian sport, from the iconic Gabba stadium to 4 Pines Park, the home of the Manly Sea Eagles. Effective immediately, DAZN Media+ is the principal partner for SureVision’s in-stadium assets in 2027, including perimeter ribbon signage, scoreboards and wayfinding.
The collaboration will see DAZN Media+ offer brands a single entry point into the sports ecosystem, connecting broadcast advertising, in-program integration, social media and, now, in-stadium opportunities. By bringing broadcast and stadium media closer together, DAZN Media+ can help extend the impact of on-ground signage beyond the stands – through the live moments, replays and conversations that engage fans wherever they watch.
Mark Frain, CEO, DAZN Media+, commented: “As the last mass-scale cultural connector and the last stronghold of appointment viewing, sport is the most valuable commercial environment in Australia – yet not every brief includes sport. This partnership extends DAZN Media+’s reach to on-the-ground advertising, empowering brands to embrace sport by providing more ways to reach Australians in the moments that matter.
“From the cameras that capture every moment to the stadiums where it unfolds, we’re closer to the sporting experience and where the live action takes place. The future will belong to the brands and agencies that can surround the fan completely: connecting the spectator journey, amplifying every electric moment and being part of every conversation.
“Brands want ecosystems, not isolated assets, and this partnership is the first of many for DAZN Media+ as we help embed brands at the heart of the action, on the field, in the broadcast and beyond,” he added.
Consultation with clubs, codes and brands highlighted how fragmented sports advertising can be. By bringing broadcast, digital and stadium assets closer together, DAZN Media+ is making it easier for brands to invest in sport and for rights holders to maximise the value of their inventory.
Nicholas Ebbeck, CEO, SureVision, commented: “Our stadium network puts brands in front of highly engaged fans in some of Australia’s most recognisable and frequented sporting venues. We’re delighted to partner with DAZN Media+ to unlock the power of our best-in-class stadium display networks and bring more brands to the table to support our Australian sports teams and codes, making it simpler to build a truly connected sports presence.”
