Egypt to Host Global Entrepreneurship Festival This November
The event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 participants from over 70 countries, reinforcing Egypt’s ambition to position itself as a regional hub for entrepreneurship and investment.
Egypt will host the third edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival from November 6 to 8, 2026, in Cairo, with organizers expecting more than 10,000 attendees from more than 70 countries. The official announcement will be made at a conference next week under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
The festival follows previous editions held in Nigeria and Ghana and is positioned as one of the largest entrepreneurship gatherings in Africa. For Egypt, hosting the event signals continued efforts to strengthen its role as a regional destination for startups, innovation, and investment while expanding links between African, regional, and international markets.
The organizing committee expects the festival to feature more than 100 exhibitors and over 60 international speakers representing government, business, and investment communities.
The official launch conference is expected to bring together ministers, senior government officials, ambassadors, representatives from diplomatic missions and development institutions, investors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and local and international media.
Egypt secured hosting rights following an international selection process. This reflects confidence in the country’s organizational capabilities and its role in supporting entrepreneurship, private sector development, startups, and SMEs.
The conference will also unveil the festival’s vision, participation opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses, and a number of initiatives focused on innovation, investment, and startup support.
Hosting an event of this scale could generate activity beyond the startup ecosystem. Increased international participation is expected to benefit sectors including tourism, hospitality, transportation, and business services. This is all while creating opportunities for new commercial and investment partnerships.
The festival also offers a platform for Egyptian startups and companies to connect with international investors, development institutions, and policymakers in a single venue. This potentially expands access to regional networks across Africa.
Attention will now turn to the official launch conference, where organizers are expected to unveil the festival’s overall vision. It will also reveal participation opportunities for entrepreneurs, companies, and investors, alongside new initiatives focused on innovation, investment, and startup support.
The organizers are targeting more than 10,000 attendees from over 70 countries, 100 exhibitors, and 60 international speakers. Thus, the festival has the potential to become one of the region’s largest platforms for connecting African startups with investors, policymakers, and development institutions while showcasing Egypt’s growing role in the continent’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
