ERGO Group Names Guy Goldstein Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer
ERGO Group has named Guy Goldstein Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) on the Management Board of ERGO Group AG. Goldstein is taking on the newly created role alongside his position as CEO of ERGO NEXT in the United States.
In the role, Goldstein is responsible for the systematic implementation of artificial intelligence across ERGO Group.
Goldstein founded ERGO NEXT in Palo Alto in 2016 as a U.S. property and casualty insurer focused on the needs of small business owners. He continues to serve as its CEO, and ERGO NEXT has been fully integrated into ERGO since last year following a partnership between ERGO and Munich Re that began in 2017.
In a statement, Goldstein shared, “I am both very honored and excited to take on the role of Chief AI Officer at ERGO Group. As part of the management team, I will focus on driving forward the Group’s ambition to establish a leadership position in the field of artificial intelligence – a key pillar of its strategic roadmap until 2030.”
