Gyeonggi Institute to Host Gyeonggi Startup Summit in October... Support for Participating Companies with Investment Attraction
The Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Promotion is recruiting companies to participate in the "2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)," which will be held at the Suwon Convention Center from October 14 to 15, 2026. Applications are open until August 13.
The "Gyeonggi Startup Summit" is a global business platform hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Promotion. Since its inaugural event in 2024, it has established itself as a leading startup expo with broad participation from Korea's top innovative companies such as MegazoneCloud and FuriosaAI, along with global startups and investment firms.
This year, by integrating exhibitions, investment opportunities, and open innovation programs, the event aims to expand growth opportunities for participating companies.
Eligible applicants are domestic and international startups based on innovative technologies in fields such as AI, semiconductors, biotechnology, and future mobility, with less than seven years since founding (ten years for new industries).

The Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Promotion will offer various support programs to selected companies, including: one-on-one investment consultations (meet-up), a complimentary exhibition booth, global keynote sessions and sector-specific conferences, global IR pitching opportunities, and participation in open innovation programs with large enterprises, to facilitate investment attraction and business collaboration.
In particular, to further enhance outcomes for investment and business partnerships, this year's summit strengthens its connection with the "Invest Connect" program, which operates prior to the main event and focuses on investment and business collaboration.
Hyun-Gon Kim, President of the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Promotion, commented, "The Gyeonggi Startup Summit is a business platform where promising startups can meet investors, large and medium-sized companies, and global partners to create new growth opportunities. Beginning with the exhibition, we will actively support sustainable growth for startups through a wide range of programs, including investment, business collaborations, open innovation, and global expansion."
