Is the world ready for English whisky?

When the word whisky is mentioned, the first thought that comes to mind might be of ones produced in Scotland or even Ireland and the USA.

A brother and sister who set up Birmingham's first licensed whisky distillery in a garage at the end of their garden reckon there is "huge scope for growth" in the country's whisky industry.

Is the world ready for English whisky?
