Jameson Parker Joins QC Entertainment As President Of Production

EXCLUSIVE: Jameson Parker has joined QC Entertainment as President of Production.

In the newly created role, Parker will oversee production across QC’s film and television slate, working alongside founders Sean McKittrick, Raymond Mansfield and Edward H. Hamm, Jr. to guide projects from development through delivery, assemble production teams and strengthen the company’s production infrastructure.

Parker brings more than two decades of experience producing and overseeing film and television projects across all genres. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Vancouver-based Lighthouse Pictures. His relationship with QC began on the Neon-distributed supernatural thriller It Lives Inside, a SXSW Audience Award winner, and continued with the upcoming Casket Girls, starring Gabrielle Union, Mike Colter, Raúl Castillo and Thomas Lennon.

Parker’s producing credits include the Sundance Film Festival selection Summer of 84; Borderline, produced alongside LuckyChap Entertainment and Red A; Netflix’s Daytime Emmy winner Julie and the Phantoms; and two seasons of family drama The Chicken Sisters, starring Wendie Malick and Lea Thompson.

Founded in 2015, QC Entertainment is best known for producing the Academy Award-winners Get Out and BlacKkKlansman. Other credits include Jordan Peele’s Us, Antebellum, the aforementioned It Lives Inside, and Netflix’s The Wrong Missy.

Parker joins as the company broadens its development, production, financing and investment activities. Recent initiatives include an investment in international sales agency Manifest Pictures, part of a strategy designed to increase the range of projects the company can develop, finance and produce while creating new partnerships with filmmakers, production companies and investors.
