Kelowna to be featured on Amazing Race Canada

Fans of the hit TV-show The Amazing Race Canada will see the Central Okanagan shine.

Kelowna and its neighbouring regions will be featured during episode two of the twelfth season of the show, according to Tourism Kelowna, which made the announcement on Facebook on July 9.

“Watch as teams race through the Okanagan Valley, taking on unique challenges inspired by our region while visiting some familiar locations,” Tourism Kelowna wrote.

“Keep your eyes peeled to see how many landmarks and experiences you recognize.”

Tourism Kelowna revealed some of the locations that will appear in the episode, including Westbank First Nation, Paynter’s Fruit Market, Big White Ski Resort, Kangaroo Creek Farm, and KF Aerospace.

The Amazing Race Canada is a CTV reality TV show that pits teams of two racers against each other as they compete in various challenges in unique locations across the country.

The show had its Season 12 premiere on July 7, beginning in Whistler Village.
