Korea Startup Forum Launches Second Round of 'Claude Credit' Program for Member Companies

Priority Support for AI-Native Startups

The Korea Startup Forum (KOSPO) announced on the 7th that it is launching the second round of recruitment for the 'Claude Credit Support Program' aimed at strengthening its members' capabilities in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI).

This second recruitment has been organized in response to the popularity of the first round of the program. In the first round, approximately 380 member companies applied, and among them, about 190 startups joined KOSPO after the news of its partnership with Anthropic. Due to a surge in applications beyond expectations, the registration closed earlier than planned.

In the second program, priority support will be given to 'AI-native' startups that use AI as a core foundation of their businesses. The selection will focus on companies that leverage AI as the core competitive edge of their products and services, not just those that simply add AI features to existing products.

Eligibility is open to full member companies of KOSPO. Selected companies will receive a basic credit worth 5,000 dollars to utilize Anthropic's AI model Claude for service development and other purposes. Companies that exhaust their initial credit will be granted an additional credit worth 5,000 dollars, allowing them to receive up to 10,000 dollars in total credit.

KOSPO plans to further expand support programs that connect global big tech companies with its member companies, taking this program as an opportunity.

Jaewon Kim, Chair of KOSPO, stated, "Through this second round of support, we hope that more member companies will be able to take advantage of these benefits to apply them to their actual business operations and enhance their AI competitiveness."
