KOSA, MegazoneCloud Support 10 South Korean AI Startups' Entry into Japanese Market
The Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA) partnered with MegazoneCloud to operate an on-site program in Tokyo supporting 10 South Korean AI and software companies entering the Japanese market. Held from the 10th to the 11th in Tokyo, the event consisted of one-on-one matching with local buyers, market entry seminars, and corporate pitching sessions.
Now in its third year, the program is part of the Win-Win Growth Cooperation Foundation's "Large-Small Business Joint Market Entry Support Project." KOSA and MegazoneCloud have consistently operated programs including identifying Japanese purchasing companies, business consultation sessions, market entry seminars, and corporate briefings.
Participating companies included Gunwoo Solution, Dawsontee, SelectStar, 3I, Whatap Labs, Willog, Estsoft, Inswave, Jimission, and Private AI. The technology areas represented by these companies span AI agents, digital twins, IT observability, smart logistics, and security.
On the first day, Shunichiro Suenaga, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Megazone Japan, presented an analysis of demand structures and market entry opportunities in Japan's AI and software market. The Japan AI Association followed with an explanation of local AI policies and regulatory compliance guidelines, and a session was arranged for South Korean companies that had previously entered Japan to share their know-how on finding and managing local partners.
