The event was attended by around 30 representatives from domestic venture capital (VC) and accelerator (AC) investment institutions, along with eight promising youth startups recommended by Youth Startup Academies from various regions.

The event included an investment briefing (IR), one-on-one consultations with investment institutions such as venture capital (VC) firms and accelerators (AC), and networking sessions. During the one-on-one consultations held after the IR presentations, participants discussed investment opportunities in terms of technological competitiveness, marketability, business feasibility, and growth strategies. Participating companies received feedback on their presentations, listened to opinions regarding their business models and investment approaches, and explored the possibility of follow-up meetings and further investment discussions.

KOSME IR Mart has been operated by KOSME since 2013 as a program to support companies in attracting investment. The Youth Startup Academy is a KOSME startup support initiative designed to discover youth startups with outstanding technology and growth potential and help them with commercialization funds, entrepreneurship education, expert coaching, investment attraction, and market development. By supporting the stable growth and scaling up of early-stage startups, the agency is helping innovative startups become growth-oriented companies.

KOSME plans to hold a second Youth Startup IR Mart in October for companies entering the Youth Startup Academy.

Johan Kyo Cho, Director of Human Resources Development at KOSME, stated, "It is crucial to continuously expand connection points with private investment institutions so that the innovative technologies and growth potential of youth startups can translate into investment outcomes. Through this IR Mart, we will actively provide step-by-step support so that outstanding companies can secure investments, scale up, and grow into K-Unicorns."
