KTC Named Official Partner of Vietnam's Largest Innovation and Startup Event... "Secures Official Platform for Market Entry"
The Only Korean Organization Selected Granted Operational Authority by Vietnam's National Startup Support Center
The Korea Testing Certification (KTC) Vietnam Office announced on July 9 that it has been selected by the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Vietnam as the official designated partner and co-organizer of "Techfest Vietnam 2026," the largest innovation and startup event in Vietnam.
A KTC representative stated, "KTC is the only Korean institution granted co-organizer rights, enabling us to directly participate in all aspects of planning and operations." The representative also explained, "The KTC Vietnam Office has been delegated official operating authority by NSSC for key areas of the event, including international cooperation programs, exhibition and program operations, and support for participating companies."
Accordingly, KTC will provide comprehensive support for Korean companies participating in the event, systematically assisting them throughout the entire process—from registration, exhibition booth operations, investor matching, and technology presentations to local networking.
Techfest Vietnam has been held since 2015 and is the largest innovation and startup event in Vietnam. It is a leading technology innovation platform that gathers global startups, investment institutions, government officials, and industry experts. This year's event will focus on global technology cooperation and expanding the innovation ecosystem.
KTC, together with NSSC, is jointly developing and operating the Vietnam Excellent Innovation Enterprises (VEIE) certification system. KTC is the sole operating agency for the global enterprise sector. Companies that obtain VEIE certification receive a variety of support, including: ▲registration assistance for the Vietnamese procurement market ▲connections to government agencies and industry networks ▲B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) business matching ▲support for establishing local subsidiaries ▲testing, certification and licensing consulting ▲priority invitation to Techfest ▲support for office space in Hanoi. By linking participation in Techfest with VEIE certification, KTC plans to help Korean companies establish a more effective foundation for entering the Vietnamese market.
Park Moo-won, Head of KTC Vietnam Office, commented, "KTC being selected as the only Korean organization to co-organize Techfest Vietnam 2026 is significant in that we have secured an official platform to support our companies' entry into the Vietnamese market. We will actively support companies so they can achieve tangible results, from participating in the event to testing, certification, VEIE certification, and local networking."
