Man dead after 2-vehicle crash in Chatham
A 27-year-old Windsor man is dead after a crash in Chatham-Kent on Friday, Ontario Provincial Police said.
Officers responded to calls of a "serious" two-vehicle collision between a van and sedan near Highway 40 and Electric Line just after 5 p.m., OPP said in a news release.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Roads have reopened after being closed for the investigation at Highway 40 between Robin Line and Bush Line, police said on social media platform X.
Elgin County OPP is working with the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team to investigate the case.
They urge anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
