MINT by EGBANK partners with VMS to help Egyptian startups enter and scale in Saudi Arabia
MINT by EGBANK has announced a strategic partnership with Value Makers Studio (VMS) to help Egyptian startups enter and expand in Saudi Arabia, creating a direct bridge between entrepreneurs in Egypt and one of the region’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems.
Under the partnership, VMS will serve as the Regional Partner for Saudi Arabia for the MINT Incubator, providing participating startups with hands-on support for market entry, regulatory guidance, access to Saudi business networks and a dedicated Saudi Arabia Regional Expansion Track.
A key component of the partnership will see VMS facilitate Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) investor registration for the top three startups selected from the cohort, supporting their ability to establish and operate entities in the Kingdom.
In addition, all startups participating in the cohort will gain access to an aggregate of more than $200,000 in software and technology perks, including cloud credits and SaaS tools provided through VMS’s partner network.
Nelly Mahmoud, Chief Officer Marketing, Youth Services & Financial Inclusion at EGBANK, said: “At MINT, we believe that supporting entrepreneurs goes beyond funding to include the knowledge, expertise and opportunities that enable their growth and expansion. With this in mind, we are committed to developing our services through strategic partnerships with leading institutions in entrepreneurship and investment, VMS is an ideal partner, given its strong regional experience and deep understanding of the market and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through this partnership, we look forward to offering young entrepreneurs a wider range of opportunities and services, and to strengthening their access to regional markets, We are proud of this partnership and look forward to delivering real value and tangible impact for the entrepreneurship community.”
VMS will design and deliver the Saudi Arabia expansion component of the MINT Incubator curriculum, covering market readiness, company establishment pathways, applicable regulatory requirements and relevant government platforms.
The program will also draw on VMS’s Saudi network to provide mentorship and guest speakers, alongside regional media and marketing support for participating startups, helping founders better understand the requirements of operating and growing their businesses in the Kingdom.
Motaz Abuonoq, CEO of Value Makers Studio, said: “There is significant ambition among Egyptian founders to expand into Saudi Arabia, but entering a new market requires the right local knowledge, relationships and infrastructure. This partnership is about turning that ambition into a practical route to market. Together with MINT, we are giving founders the tools and access they need to take meaningful steps toward building their businesses in the Kingdom.”
The partnership combines MINT’s focus on empowering young individuals and early-stage entrepreneurs with VMS’s presence and operating network in Saudi Arabia, creating a platform through which promising Egyptian startups can build the knowledge, connections and market readiness required for regional expansion.
eyond market-entry support, the partnership will connect VMS directly with participating founders for mentorship, relationship-building and potential collaboration and investment opportunities, while giving VMS portfolio companies and its startup network access to software perks available through MINT.
