Montana Tech earns national recognition in 2027 U.S. News & World Report rankings

Montana Technological University has earned recognition across four categories in the 2027 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.

Montana Tech was recognized on U.S. News & World Report’s lists for Regional Universities in the West and Top Public Schools among Regional Universities in the West.

The university’s academic programs also earned national recognition. Montana Tech was included on the Undergraduate Engineering Programs at schools where a doctorate in engineering is not offered list, while the Sherry Lesar School of Nursing was recognized on the Undergraduate Nursing Programs list.

Montana Tech was also recognized for Best Value Schools and Top Performers on Social Mobility, which measures how well schools enroll and graduate students who received federal Pell Grants.

The rankings add to a growing list of national recognitions for Montana Tech and highlight the university’s focus on providing students with a high-quality education that prepares them for in-demand careers.
