Ontario lowers colon cancer screening age
Effective this month, Ontario is lowering the colorectal cancer screening age from 50 to 45. This mean more Ontarians will be able to be screened sooner and hopefully cancer is caught earlier. Caryn Lieberman has the story of one woman who was diagnosed at 41 and her message to others about the importance of early screening.
