Philips unite LED transforms Leer’s council chambers with 135
PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has announced that the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series All In One solution has been installed at the municipal government offices in Leer, Germany. The 135-inch display is designed to elevate presentations, council sessions, and hybrid collaboration, delivering a high-performance visual experience for local government operations. The Leer Municipal team, based in the historic Rathaus, sought to modernize its central meeting room with a solution that combined reliability, usability, and sustainability. After extensive evaluations, the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series was selected for its outstanding image quality, energy efficiency, and ease of installation. With Full HD resolution, 900 cd/m² brightness, and a fine 1.5mm pixel pitch, the display ensures crystal-clear visuals even in bright environments. Numbers, charts, and detailed documents are presented with exceptional clarity, enhancing transparency and efficiency in council work. The Unite LED solution offers rich color depth, wide viewing angles, and durable design, making it ideal for demanding municipal spaces. Connectivity options include HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, and audio, while the integrated media player and wall mounting system simplify deployment. Supporting Leer’s sustainability goals, the display consumes less energy than comparable models, with just 0.5 watts in ultra-low standby mode. This reduces operational costs and environmental impact, aligning with long-term efficiency targets. The installation, managed by LS IT & Media, also integrates a professional AVer PTZ camera, Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling microphones, a conferencing PC, and Dante audio technology. Together, these components deliver seamless hybrid meeting support, clear voice capture without table microphones, and advanced features such as recording and AI-powered transcription via tucan.ai.Eckhard Groen of LS IT & Media said: “With the Philips 135” Unite LED wall as the visual centrepiece, a modern, high-performance meeting room was created that sets new standards for the Leer Municipal committee work. The high-quality image, combined with professional audio and video technology, enables efficient, transparent, and contemporary council work.”Get the latest technology news and updates.
