Hundreds of fans donning red and white came out to cheer on Team Canada during a World Cup watch party in downtown Chilliwack on Saturday.
Canada went up against Morocco in the FIFA World Cup match on Saturday, July 4.
Folks gathered at Central Community Park in Chilliwack to watch it on the big screen, live from Houston.
The game was scoreless going into the second half. The opposing team later scored three times, making the final score 3-0 for Morocco.
As a result of the loss, Canada was eliminated from the tournament, and Morocco will advance to the quarterfinals.
The free watch party was hosted by the Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association, Tourism Chilliwack and District 1881.
