Preaching positivity in Ontario town
When Newmarket Mayor John Taylor appointed a few dozen community positivity ambassadors in the southern Ontario town during the COVID-19 pandemic, he wanted to make sure someone was at the centre of the effort. Enter longtime customer service supervisor Jamie Boyle, who took on the new role of chief positivity officer with aplomb. He didn't stop when the pandemic ended. (July 10, 2026)
