Quentin Tarantino & Kylie Minogue Shooting Jamie Adams’ Next Feature
Jamie Adams (Only What We Carry) is currently shooting his next feature film in Wales and was spotted framing up Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue, who are set to star in the film.
We have been told Tarantino and Adams star in the film alongside Allison Williams, RZA, Jason Isaacs, and Sofia Boutella. The film will be titled Tangled up in Blue.
Local Welsh outlet Nation. Cymru on Sunday first reported an image from the film’s set that featured Tarantino and Minogue. The outlet also confirmed that the pair are among the cast of a new feature that Adams is directing. Tarantino starred in Adams’ last film, Only What We Carry.
We’ve been told Visor Entertainment is behind the film for producers Jordan Levine, Sabine Stener, and Randy Kleinman. Visor is the company set up by Jordan Levine after his Yale Entertainment was discontinued following financial woes.
Late last week, BBC News reported that Tarantino had been spotted in a Cardiff hotel by locals. The 64-year-old filmmaker is currently working in the UK as he readies his first West End play, The Popinjay Cavalier, for an early 2027 launch.
Sonia Friedman Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment are producing the production, which has been described as a “swashbuckling comedy.”
The official synopsis currently reads: “Set in 1830s Europe, The Popinjay Cavalier is a rambunctious comedy of deception and disguise inspired by the grand swashbuckling epics of stage and screen. A sweeping celebration of theatre and its heightened romance, told with Tarantino’s signature style and unmistakable wit.”
Sonia Friedman Productions is the outfit behind a string of stage hits, including Paddington: The Musical and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Tarantino revealed last summer that he was working on a play. At the time, he said: “The play is written. It is absolutely the next thing I’m going to do. We’ll start the ball rolling on it in January… It’s probably going to take up a year and a half to two years of my life.” Last week, we reported that sources tipped the production to hit the stage in January 2027.
